Build a corridor from front and rear rectangles, checking receding edges, verticals and floor seams without treating equal screen spacing as equal real distance.

A receding corridor needs more than slanted lines pointing vaguely together. Fix a one-point convention, establish front/rear frames and one vanishing point, then arrange walls and floor divisions. This original spatial illustration verifies no architectural dimensions, access or automatic 3D model; you audit depth using references.

## Fix the front frame, rear wall and vanishing point

Create a 1200 by 900 pixel canvas with vanishing point (600,350) and a horizontal eye-level reference through it. The front frame has x=150/1050 and y=50/800; the rear wall x=450/750 and y=250/500. These are drawing coordinates, not room metres. Sketch both rectangles and the point lightly, noting that the rear lies inside the front and the point inside the rear. Leave unobstructed title space and defer doors/furniture so decoration cannot conceal frame errors.

## Extend four receding edges to the same point

Join corresponding front/rear corners and temporarily extend each edge through the fixed vanishing point. With these coordinates, each front-corner displacement from it is three times the corresponding rear displacement, providing a check beyond appearance. Final edges occupy only the span between frames; hide extensions separately rather than presenting them as wall cracks. Do not cross-connect opposite corners. Ordinary segments do not understand a perspective system, so a rear-wall move requires checking all four edges.

## Preserve vertical and transverse directions

Keep frame verticals vertical and rear horizontals horizontal; depth convergence does not tilt every line. An optional side-wall door keeps vertical edges upright while receding top/bottom edges follow the same vanishing point. Prototype one simple frame without crossing wall corners. Transverse floor seams do not also point toward the vanishing point. Explain depth versus transverse edges briefly; colour is supplementary, and endpoint/direction relationships must survive its removal.

## Use floor seams as divisions without pretending measured spacing

Place optional horizontal floor seams at y=620,560,520, ending on the two receding floor edges. Shrinking gaps suggest depth, but these positions were not calculated from equal physical tiles and must not be labelled measured equal lengths. Check endpoints before wall overrun. Rigorous equal-tile perspective needs its own construction, not direct interpretation of screen differences as real lengths. Keep these three illustrative divisions distinct from the principal framework so moving them does not change its rule.

## Rebuild depth relationships when moving the vanishing point

In a copy, move the vanishing point left, retaining the front frame before reconstructing rear wall and all receding edges. Moving a point alone does not change the corridor view. Reposition rear corners where old ones no longer match new rays instead of hiding discrepancies with heavy strokes. This is a new composition, not preserved unverified room dimensions. Recheck eye level, door edges and seam endpoints. Keep the original and compare at equal display size, distinguishing viewpoint from scaling; paths do not propagate perspective edits automatically.

## Keep shading inside established planes

Fill left/right walls, ceiling and floor with separate pale closed shapes following verified edges. Inspect without fills, then restore to find seams or overlaps; gradients must not conceal corners. Values identify planes without calculated real illuminance. Skirting/cornice lines follow the same depth system rather than arbitrary horizontal decoration. Add furniture only after the framework works, without claiming measured sizes. A sparse view is sufficient and often makes consistency easier to audit.

## Inspect extensions and reduced output after export

Retain frames, vanishing point and extension sources and hide unnecessary references for export. Reopen the actual file and inspect four joins, door and seams with title clear of corners. Check fills on another background; white backing remains an object. Name one-point corridor schematic, size and revision, not construction drawing. Real-space guidance needs site/standard verification rather than access claims from decoration. Keep the shared-point explanation for editable recipients maintaining dependencies.

## Return to corner pairing and eye level for distorted walls

For twisted planes, check crossed corner pairings and convergence. Slanted door uprights need the vertical rule; fan-like seams need transverse/depth separation. Repair gaps at path endpoints rather than adding shadows to disguise them as depth. A viewpoint edit affecting only one side requires checking all four edges and doors, not flattening the entire image. Recheck bare framework, common-point extensions, plane fills and actual export so every direction has an accountable spatial role.
